Country: Portugal / Encosta do Bocho Grand Reserva
Variety: Portuguese Red Douro
Winery: 1912 Winemakers /
Produced from old vines, this big and rounded wine has dark, dusty tannins that come from the concentrated fruit flavors as much as the wood. It comes from a producer whose main quinta, São Bernardo, was created in 1912. It is a dense, brooding wine that shows great weight and power. Black plum, dark berries and intense acidity are there in richness and profusion. Drink from 2018.
