Give this lush, rich Syrah two or three years to soften and develop in the bottle. It’s a very good wine, offering impressive blackberry, blueberry and cherry-pie filling flavors, wrapped into fine acids and tannins. But it’s fresh and young and will get better. Better well into 2011.
