Loamy, ripe, earthy aromas of black cherry suggest raisin and stewed berry. The palate is full and mostly balanced for a warm-vintage, very ripe wine such as this. Flavors of berry, roasted plum and earth finish with raisiny richness and just enough zesty acidity to keep things upright and afloat. Drink through 2018.
