Lusty and ripe, with very high alcohol, this wine nonetheless wears the heat well, showing jammy black cherry pie, licorice, crisp bacon, sandalwood and pepper flavors that go on into a long, spicy finish. The interesting blend is Tempranillo, Merlot, Grenache and Mourvèdre, with each variety playing an essential role.
