This traditionally crafted Brunello offers aromas of wild berry, violet, Mediterranean scrub and a whiff of new leather. There’s lots of juicy Morello cherry and crushed raspberry on the palate, while notes of vanilla, savory herb, tobacco, licorice and a hint of salinity add depth. It’s well balanced with velvety tannins and bright acidity that give it both power and finesse. Drink 2018–2030.
