A small percentage of Sangiovese is added to this traditional Amarone blend, giving it balance and acidity. The bouquet is redolent of oak spice, vanilla, barbecue spice, cherry, soy sauce, leather and tobacco. Both the complexity and the intensity reach impressive levels. On the palate, it tastes dry and richly textured.
