There’s a part of this small lush valley, poised between fog and sun, that gives Sauvignon Blanc an extra edge of interest, combining the grape’s citrus, weedy character with fatter ones of apricot and honeydew. This is that kind of wine. Thirteen percent Sémillon adds cashew and fig notes, while high acidity keeps things bright and crisp. Nice value, too.
