Given the limited sampling of what I’ve tried from Casa l’Angel, this is a winery to watch. This blend of Syrah and Tempranillo is fully ripe and clean, with blackberry, toast and minerally aromas. It’s solidly built, ready to drink and offers satisfying flavors of cherry and blackberry in front of a warm, medicinal finish.
