The wine is produced from old Alicante Bouschet and Sousão vines both of which contribute to the dark, almost black color. It is concentrated while with considerable acidity, tannins and a mouth- tingling juicy black currant character. The wood-aged, spicy wine needs to age much longer to even begin the round out, so don’t drink before 2018.
