Country: France / Dou Hauret
Variety: Red Blend Southwest France
Winery: Château de Gayon / Madiran
In this ripe, smooth wine, the fruit dominates the tannic structure. Black fruits, dense plums and blackberry flavors are rich and concentrated. The firmer underlay is dark, brooding and promises good aging. This is not a shy wine and it will also need aging, so drink from 2018.
