Ripe blackberry, mature plum, rose and grilled herb aromas lead the nose. The savory, approachable palate offers dark cherry, crushed raspberry, aromatic herb, ground anise and a hint of mocha. Firm but polished tannins and fresh acidity give it balance. This will make fine drinking over the next few years. Drink through 2016–2021.
