From an organically grown, seven-acre vineyard that was planted nearly 40 years ago comes this savory, cooler-climate-styled Syrah. It’s redolent with cracked black pepper, soy, charcoal and tar on the nose, plus an underlying lavender and black-currant sweetness. The palate is very tarry and peppery, with flavors of dried elderberry and roasted lamb with a rosemary touch.
