This high octane offering opens with aromas of mature black fruit, spice and orange peel. The palate expresses lush black cherry, blackberry and clove uplifted by a note of thyme alongside a seriously tannic backbone. It’s shy on fresh acidity and you can definitely detect the alcohol, but it’s still delicious.
