This rich yet balanced barrel-fermented Chenin opens with enticing aromas of honeycomb, melon flesh, toasted brioche, orange oil and apple skin. The medium-weight palate is creamy and lush, boasting notes of apple and citrus rind that linger on the spicy finish. It’s delicious now, but it should also age well through 2020.
