The alcohol is refreshingly moderate in this dry, silky Pinot. The flavors are quite complex, suggesting wild cherries and raspberries, mushrooms, cola and sandalwood, with hints of balsam and herbs. The wine should age well, but the acidic sharpness on the finish will always be prominent.
