Country: US / Ashley’s
Variety: Chardonnay California
Winery: Fess Parker / Sta. Rita Hills
Fresh aromas of salty lemon cream, wet slate and riverstones, as well as a touch of slightly sour yogurt, show on the nose of this bottling from the vineyard named after Fess Parker’s daughter, who now runs much of the company. The lively palate combines squeezes of citrus with a creamy mouthfeel that offers hints of nuts and orangesicle. It’s a very cohesive wine.
