Made completely from Merlot, this wine comes from Candy Mountain (52%), Birch Creek (25%) and Bacchus vineyards. The oak (35% new American) plays a central role, with aromas of vanilla and green wood out in front of raspberries and cherries. Flavors are light yet concentrated, with the tannins showing some astringency.
