Tannic, dry and acidic now, this doesn’t offer much of the immediate opulence found in many California Pinot Noirs. The richness is in there, but it’s buried. The sweet core of cherries, currants, exotic spices, mushrooms and minerals is just waiting for time to release it. Cellar this for 6–8 years.
