There’s a concentrated forest floor funk to the nose of this intriguing blend of 58% Grenache, 21% Syrah and 21% Carignane, as well as sweet root vegetable, blueberry, black plum and dried beef aromas. The palate is very wound up in a reductive, tarry tensions, with elderberry fruit and incense oil flavors. Needs some time to unfurl.
