This is a truly beautiful wine, a blend of two estate vineyards, Quail Hill and Susanna’s. Richly layered and concentrated in its still-vibrant youth, it’s also texturally complex and compelling in its teases of ginger and honey, taking on more succulent notions of apple and a flinty element as it opens.
