MacRostie’s Wildcat Mountain Pinot is always an interesting wine, but it’s vintage-driven, and this 2010 shows challenges. There’s a vegetal, mushroomy streak to the raspberry fruit that makes the palate recoil. Compared to the lush 2009, it’s a disappointment.
