A blend of equal parts Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Sangiovese, Piastraia opens with tangy green hints of rosemary and curry leaf, followed by notes of ripe strawberry, cherry liqueur and blackberry jam. Touches of leather and tobacco surface on the palate, and the tannins are firm and richly textured.
