This is less luxuriantly ripe than some of the other 2013 Hawke’s Bay Syrahs, showing some firm, dusty tannins on the finish, but it’s still a terrific offering. Cracked black pepper, fresh blueberries and cedar notes come together beautifully on the palate, promising much for the future. Drink 2018–2025.
