Merlot is one of the benchmark wines at this winery, wholly-owned by the Osoyoos Indians. Roasted aromas of plum and cherry don’t entirely disguise a bit of funk. A year in mixed oak adds flavors of mocha and dark chocolate to rather thin fruit.
