Country: US / West Terrace
Variety: Pinot Noir California
Winery: Paraiso Vineyards / Santa Lucia Highlands
Best to give this young Pinot a year or two in the cellar, because it’s a little too closed to completely enjoy now. It doesn’t show the generosity of the ’01 or ’05, but is more tannic and a little earthier. Should mellow through 2009 and let the cherry flavors emerge.
