They packed a little Cabernet Franc and Merlot into this Sangiovese to give it richness, with rewarding results. It’s quite a good wine, dry and tart in mouthwatering acidity, with solid tannins framing accessible flavors of cherries, cola, leather and cedar. A commendable effort at a fair price.
