If this isn’t Chile’s best Syrah, then it’s among the top three. Graphite, tobacco, leather, blackberry, baked black plum and spice aromas set up a lively palate, with firm tannins and good acidity. Stewed plum, blackberry, toasty oak and licorice flavors finish with a grabby feel and lingering flavors of anise and black pepper. Drink through 2020.
