Organically grown and selected from a mix of specific vineyard blocks, Rex Hill’s reserve is rather light in 2007, with tannins that are a bit out of proportion to the fruit. It’s a carefully controlled effort, but thin and dilute, with strawberry/watermelon fruit and some tomato leaf creeping into the finish.
