Very dark, very focused, and very pure, this full-bodied wine polishes the notorious tannins of the varietal just slightly, while pouring on dark chocolate, blackberry jam, white pepper and a touch of floral flavor. It’s a great wine to buy and stash in a cool place for a few years to see how interesting Petite Sirah can get. Best after 2024.
