Intensely oak-driven on the nose, toasted coconut and coffee aromas are front and center. Rich, full and round in feel, with solid tannic structure, the palate initially follows suit, however upon further investigation a concentrated core of blackberry and dark plum lies underneath. The fruit is there, yet hidden by a heavy film of makeup.
