Sometimes said to be the world’s most southerly vineyard—it’s certainly one of the most southerly vineyards—Last Chance is also fairly elevated. It’s a difficult plot to ripen, and always seems a bit lean in style compared to its stablemates. The 2015 is floral and herbal on the nose, but full of bright and crispy-crunchy red fruit on the palate, finishing tart and strident.
