Woody aromas smell much like warm cedar, and that’s backed up by some nice cherry and cassis. There’s plenty of pleasant red fruit on the palate, and not a hint of green. Some chocolaty earthiness makes it all the more cheerful. It’s an easy drinker that delivers solid Cab character without a lot of fuss and heavy extraction.
