Windy Oaks’ 2012s are lighter in color than their vintage compatriots, yet not lacking in aromas, which include sage, tomato, black olive and curry. The leaner palate begins a bit light before emerging with olive tapenade and crushed herbs. It would pair well with a burger, roasted chicken, or gourmet burrito.
