In this case, 55% Syrah, 40% Zinfandel and 5% Viognier join forces to offer elderberry, blackberry, pine oil, toasted oak, crushed black pepper and charred meat on the nose. The palate gives chocolate, allspice, baked cherry and blueberry, vanilla and a toasty cedar tone.
